Chance the Rapper has done it again! On Friday, the independent music superstar announced he would support Chicago Public Schools by creating the New Chance Arts & Literature Fund. He said, "We all know the Illinois education system is one of the most underfunded in the nation. "I'm excited to announce the creation, in collaboration with the Children's First Fund, of the New Chance Arts & Literature Fund."
The rapper's fund and his nonprofit, Social Works, will work with Ingenuity to find the CPS schools in most need of a better arts program.
It was also announced at the presser that the Chicago Bulls have followed his donation with a $1 million donation of their own to the CPS Foundation.
