Kirk Franklin’s wife, Tammy Franklin, may have broken the news about Usher‘s engagement to his girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea. According to OK! magazine, Tammy gave a hint when she shared a photo on her Instagram story of her husband Kirk, Usher and Goicoechea.
“Getting to know Usher up close and see him come to this place in his career of having a residency in Las Vegas is huge!” Tammy wrote in the caption. “Ladies he is taken! This is his beautiful fiancé @boogsneffect thank you for being so gorgeous and kind.”
Usher and Goicoechea have two kids together. The couple welcomed their first child, Sovereign Bo Raymond, in 2020.
“We are feeling blessed and full of love with the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Sovereign Bo Raymond. ‘Isn’t She lovely’ by Stevie Wonder on repeat,” Usher wrote on Instagram at the time.
The Grammy-winning singer announced the birth of their second child together in October.
“Hi my name is Sire Castrello Raymond … I am the newest addition to the Raymond crew,” Usher wrote on Instagran. “I was born Sept. 29, 2021, at 6:42 p.m., weighing 7lbs 13oz. Hear me roar…A.K.A Ra Ra.”

Usher talked about his love for children when he spoke with Good Morning America in 2020.
“Babies always bring such joy to a family and [I’m] really, really excited for my young one,” he told GMA in 2020.
The “U Got It Bad” singer also has two sons from a previous relationship.
