The music industry and fans alike watch Beyoncé’s every move, including who she chooses to support. Years after signing Chloe x Halle and launching them into the spotlight, the Renaissance performer encouraged Coi Leray.

Beyoncé sent the rapper a bouquet of white flowers and an accompanying note.

“I’m a fan of yours and love watching you grow. You’re a very talented young lady. Love, Beyoncé,” the note reads.

Leray took to social media to share her excitement and publicly thank Beyoncé.

“The queen has spoken .. Thank you for inspiring all of us not only with music but just how you carry yourself with such grace, Beyoncé,” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. “Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

The “Players” rapper recently opened for one of Beyoncé’s tour dates at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles earlier this month. The opening act featured DJ Khaled, who brought Leray to the stage alongside other performers such as 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Roddy Ricch, Doechii, Lil Wayne, YG, Big Sean, Lil Durk and Offset.

Leray was not present during Tuesday’s MTV Video Music Awards ceremony. She didn’t receive any nominations for her hit “Players,” which spent 26 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and debuted at No. 9.

The rapper mentioned the snub in a tweet and thanked the BET Awards for recognizing her work. She received five nominations, including Best Live Performer, song of the year, best hip-hop video, best collaboration and hip-hop album of the year.

The music video for Leray’s collaboration with Busta Rhymes for his latest release, “Luxury Life,” recently dropped.
